The Gravedigger vs Bakhtiari at DT

OK, I have read all the hype on this Bakhtiari and actually bought the card as a more expensive replacement for Gravedigger.  I see what the stats say but that doesn't tell the whole story.  I want to stop the run 1st of all but a pass rush from the interior would be a bonus for sure!  

  1st of all, I have the fridge as DT1 .  2nd, does he play better at DT or RE due to the ea fatigue patch?  Lastly, if DT, is he worth plugging in the middle over Digger and why?  Yes, inside stuff is discounted...

You could put pretty much use Bak anywhere I used him and he's just around the quarterback instantly.

My friend has him at DT and he does real well against both the pass and rush for us though I don’t know what ability(ies) he has on him though.

Without abilities, Bak is better.

With abilities, Gravedigger is better. The X-Factor abilities on him, Madubuike and Terminator make them the best DT's in the game.

It’s funny you say that because I had gravedigger for awhile and he was alright made some plays here and there. Nothing real crazy tho. Got rid of him and picked up John Randle and have never looked back. They have very similar blk shed , fmv, and pmv. Randle is over the 90 threshold in both blockshed and power moves with an 89 fmv.  Ive been running inside stuff on him and like I said he has more plays in a few games then I remember gravedigger having the whole time I had him for a couple weeks.  Obviously take it with a grain of sait, the only thing that makes me nervous now with the fatigue thing is Randle is only 290. Gravedigger has 55 pounds on him and bakhatari has 20. But I have never seen Randle  get fatigued not once so he must be within that weight range where he’s okay And doesnt get the rapid fatigue, at least not yet

Great feedback....I actually had Gravedigger with Randle before I swapped Randle with The Fridge.  Randle was very good and prolly a great option at 290 lbs for DE right now with the fatigue issue.

Probably didn’t use gravedigger correctly then. When he’s lit up, he literally flattens who ever is in front of him

I love how people immediately jump to he must not be used correctly. 1) never said he was bad nor did I say he didn’t make plays. He didn’t make a ton of splash plays or sacks by himself. im sure he was eating blocks 2) ap was much more important in my secondary, and still is, then on my dt so  he mostly played without abilites. Other then a few test trials where when he was lit up he didn’t come close to flattening everybody  3) for what I want to do in my scheme hes not the best fit. Again just was giving my experience on the players i used. That’s great that gravedigger was great for you and flattened everybody in your scheme, John Randle is him for me.

Definitely like I said to the guy above it really depends on your scheme. And what you’re trying to do. Gravedigger and the fridge or gravedigger and Randle or even grave digger and bakh are great combos. Just gotta figure out how they play in the defense you run. I feel like all are pretty comparable right now but pretty soon those discounted abilities will start coming in handy on the line with needing Kos all over the secondary. Good luck tho I hope grave and fridge start eating the offensive line with that size

But he does.  When he’s lit up, he plows through the defense and grabs the QB and buries him.  I don’t know what to say…he’s the best DT in the game when lit
