there's only 3 releases left for legends and I got 3 tokens from the challenges

I know this is late but is it pretty scary that the team captains are potentially the last cards left from this promo or no?

Your post seemed to cause some confusion. I don't know if you're asking about the Legends program or team captain program. Hopefully, my reply is based on what I assume you were questioning.

If Legends program:

You are assuming the next remaining legend releases will upgrade the team captain cards based on the most recent release which had Ronde Barber. You don't like the idea that we could be getting cards for Frank Gore, Kevin Mawae, and the other team captains which would not provide major upgrades and cause lackluster releases. This is not a big deal as you can pick any legends from the entire program. We can't confirm which legends will be released in the next few weeks before Ultimate Legends and we will have to see how EA ends the legend program. 

If team captains:

I believe that the program will not be releasing cards and will only give captain upgrade tokens. This should let every team captain be maxed out. This is also not a big deal.
