Like cmon ea no John Lynch, Steve young, simeon rice, Brian urlacher, Mike ditka, Tom Brady, Antonio brown, Randall Cunningham, daunte Culpeper, and wes welker. Whereas there are some guys with a ridiculous amount of cards. Who else do you wish had a card and why is ea such a garbage company?
I wouldn’t mind a Daniel jones card. I know most people don’t think he’s good and he was hurt this year but yeah his aka card last year was pretty good

They did ”Opening Day” and now “Y2K”.
Maybe the Danny Dimes LTD will headline the “Garbage Cans” with James “Whiff Master” Bradberry and Tyler “Wide Right” Bass?
lane johnson still has a core elite 86 and reed blankenship still has a 85 headliners which is basically not even an upgrade since it came out when the game did
The problem is that EA has no-ones rights, so that’s why there is always recycled cards, but most of the players you mentioned would probably get legend cards if they would Make it into the game

I've been literally saving my original 16/16 Legends token, assuming a Steve Young has to be dropping "soon" -- NOPE, another copy of 49ers legend Joe Montana. Which is really cool and all, my childhood hero (along with Jerry Rice and Air Jordan, of course)... but come on, this is getting pathetic even by the usual low-standards some of us hold EA to.
Why is EA such a garbage company? Fantastic question. I'm going to blame the exclusive NFL license for simulation fatball (which expires May 2026, source). Free market, my left buttcheek. Monopolies are bad, lack of consumer choice is bad. Yet here i am / here we are, with literally no other place to turn to enjoy or build / manage an NFL team of our own. My kid barely tinkers with Madden because it's been such a buggy ass mess for as long as he can remember (which is only about ~three years of Madden, he's only 10).
I was going to attempt to work in some tasteless joke about CTE and/or violent crime teams we could potentially build, but the amount of murder/suicide issues are just a bit too dark. Brain damage is no joke, i'm not quite twisted enough to be able to jest about such topics.
EA isn't even trying anymore and there's a plethora of ignorant, pathetic little children rushing to defend this billion dollar company's lack of effort or ability to pull off a coherent gameplay experience, let alone anything that resembles simulation football. BUT, but, but... it's says they're from the "vault" they're supposed to be exact copies of cards from Madden `23. OOF. 🤡

EA has lost rights to 99% of past players. (Probably)

These are too good 😭
I just want Ryan Fitzpatrick back
Not sure what Culpepper has ever done to deserve a card. I think he had a couple good years where he just threw it deep to Randy and that's it.
Another vote for Randall Cunningham here.
