People here asking for more offensive line/offensive abilities???

Guys...offense has been OP for a very long time. If you are a decent player you are going to score on almost every possession. One or 2 stops and you're going to win...

Now because the pass rush that has been inconsistent and poor for most of the year has gotten a little bit of a boost, does not mean it tilts to the defense's favor.

In Madden, offense will always have the advantage. You control the QB, ball carriers...and you see the entire field. On defense you control one player who may not even be involved in the play and generally you use a limited view and cannot see behind you.....

It has always been this way. We do not need more abilities on offense to make it even more OP

Each side of the ball  has OP abilities. 

There's maybe one  slight advantage giving Offensive Line Only  Ability and thats Omniscient.

Offensive Line absolutely deserve more usable abilities.   They don't even have to add new ones  just combine them like they've been doing.

Puller Elite and Screen Protector would be a great combo

Matador and Nasty Streak another great combo.

Tough Nut and Fool Me Once might be a pretty OP combo for an Olineman.

When every game (if played to the end) has a combined score in the 60's-80's then no, the offense is already OP. If you are playing a game that ends 10-7 then neither player is very good on offense (no "offense" to anyone). Point being it is SO easy to score in Madden that you really do not need more overpowered abilities.

Oline abilities don't  affect  MUT in its current state.  If you're giving up 60 or only scoring 10   its not the game, its not the abilities, its the player having a really bad game.  If it happens often then they're just bad at the game and should practice more or adopt a cheese scheme.

New Oline abilities are not going to stop 

The people who run RPOs are still going to run RPOs. 

The people who instantly run out of the pocket and to throw sideline passes are still going to do it. 

The people who "Only Run the ball" are still only going to pick them running plays.

Literally the most used ability on the Oline is Identifier and even then majority of  people only use it to set up  throws to the opposite side.

Adding in a few more combos will hardly be noticable

I think the problem with oline abilities goes back to the fact that oline isn't an important position in mut gameplay wise. Sure it matters a little but most people wouldn't notice a major difference between a 90 ovr oline and a 94 ovr oline. 

It's telling that the best oline ability is one that gives information rather than improving blocking. That's because the main problem with blocking is the best way to beat it is cheesing the AI so someone is unblocked rather than some ability or ratings. If EA actually knew how to fix the cheese it wouldn't be in the game in the first place.

Are you sayig   Oline isn't important but somehow if they made new Abilities they would be?  Cause i just don't see it

Identifier is only popular because its a paywall for something that used to be free. Its also a must for my scheme.

EA also nerfed Oline abilities this year when they made everything a "RNG Chance" activation.   I just don't see Oline abilities being OP due to the nerf and the minimum use outside of an Identifier related ability.  Nor can i ever see a combination of Oline Abilities that would take over as META.

No, I was agreeing that in general most oline abilities suck. Oline even with abilities just isn't important in mut.

The fatigue glitch is better for oline than any blocking ability. Maybe EA will just turn it into one.

People are really complaining that offense is too hard now?

You got to be kidding me… even with all the KOs and pass rush x-factors, it’s still heavily towards the offensive side.

- They haven’t patched the rollout glitch in 2 years

- RPOs are still dominant

- schemes that counter bunch are broken and don’t play correctly

- slide and id is all you need to do to stop all the meta

- gift wrap making the game broken

- flat zone KO not working

- defenders dropping picks

- glowing half backs

- meta all year has been quick throw to the flat and juke for 5-10 yards

if you add more ap on offense all it’s going to do is put defense back the way it was.

I agree with the folks saying no increase in offense abilities...in a perfect world there would be no abilities anywhere...or worst case...can only have it on three (this is the way it was a couple years ago), but...that ain't gonna happen.  So the balance right now is about right (that is to say...it is ridiculous,  but anything more would just compound that issue).

It's not just about O line abilities m(which generally kinda suck), it's more about how uneven this game has been - offense has just dominated . The point is that it does not need anything more that would help offense dominate more. Madden will always be a more offensive game since they did away with guys like MUT Master Shazier making picks 20 yards in front of the ball trajectory...

Those people wanting O Line abilities must be playing teams like mine with JJ, Bosa, Reggie and Madbeast who all actually seem to get a somewhat consistent pass rush now. But I mean, a) offense is still more OP than defense and b) that's the way it goes....when you face a team with 4 dominant pass rushers you should feel some pressure-that's football. 

IRL when O lineman try to block a guy like TJ or Micah or Trey they are going to have a very hard time on almost every passing down.

People have to realize that this game is at it’s best when it makes you adjust to what your opponent is doing. Everyone complains at the first roadblock. Adjust. Adapt. Learn another scheme in your playbook. Recognize what your opponent is running and attack it… can’t just run double post every time. We scream cause madden is on repeat but when something makes us change, the community freaks out cause they don’t have a clue what to do. Stop looking at youtube & e-book (never shows how to attack the meta anyways) and  learn.

Homie  there's  plenty of people who are bored with the game. 

 Like you said the game isn't hard.and that's thanks to the playerbase all running the same dumb donkey plays.

I also got nothing but time and this is a forum for MUT Discussion so i am not in the wrong place to discuss MUT?
