I have noticed that my players often will swat the ball when they are in the perfect spot to pick it off. However, when I go against others, and thrown ball is within 5 yards of a defender, it's always picked off.
I've done hundreds of H2H games and I rarely see any swat my QB's pass. It's a pick 90% of the time. However, despite almost all my players having the "Aggressive" trait, they always bat it down. I mean when there is literally no one around them and they are in perfect position to pick it, this happens.
I try my best to user most of the time but I don't always have time to click on before the swat starts. I've seen d-linemen like Vince Wilkfork pick me off while my 98 Jimmy Graham will swat a perfectly catchable ball.
Is there a reason for this? It's cost me a lot of game ending picks.
