Opinions on Playoffs Josh Allen

Okay so I went ahead and built Josh Allen and OMG he sucks so bad. I fucking hate him with the fire of a thousand suns. I've never been sacked so many times with his slow ass release. I'm going back to Luck and throwing his card into the trash.

I see some people talking about winning with him, high throw power, quick release on some throws (??? really????)...in any case...

You need GS because his release really is slow. You need SFL or PLE on any QB these days, and you could drop off HRM I guess but for 1 AP on him it is powerful. I love HRM. If you go GS, PLE, gift wrapped that is probably the best stack for him.

There's the paranoid trait. Under pressure his throws are often not good. Do NOT underestimate this, it shows up at very inopportune times....And running with the QB is not really a highly successful thing this year.

 I got rid of him quickly after trying him out....I do not think he is an upgrade from Luck

And as for 99 THP, with the same strat cards and with chems most top tier QBs get to 99 .

Yep, you're exactly right. I tried him with PLE/GS/GW and it was okay but I'm really used to at least slot apprentice for my calls. So I switched to SFL/HRM/GS and it was so bad. Any pressure was messing up his throws or he just couldn't get it off in time and got sacked. I honestly don't know what's up with my line because I have all the new Playoff linemen and I'm getting constant rushed throws. 

Either way, I'm switching back to Luck. I'm 30/30 ZC and Playoffs anyways. I wish I could afford Stroud but I guess I'll wait until SB MVP to drop for everyone to offload him.

My last QB's were 93 Luck, 92 Montana, 94 Vick, 95 Stroud and 94 Allen in that order. I sold Stroud after he kept throwing ducks that lost me games. Bought Josh Allen, I use PLE, GS, and GW. I used to use HRM a lot but found that the only hot routes I REALLY needed were the RB ones so I run RB apprentice 1 AP with Kelce TE Apprentice 0 AP. Allen hasnt disappointed so far, he feels very good to use and doesnt miss more throws than other QBs that ive used this year

Simply an ability saver. 3 ap for the abilities I would want on him 5 for the rest of the team. 
 

Otherwise the card plays like ass. Inaccurate and can’t seem to get the ball out fast enough. I’ve used GS on some qbs and am CONVINCED that it has no effect

Just FYI, Stroud is awesome when you can get your hands on him

You said Stroud threw ducks for you? Wow. I have not had that with him or seen that from him. What type of passes ? His under pressure throws have been great for me.

I switched from 93 Vick to him and I love the card. He is a slower runner than Vick, but with that stack, he is a better passer.

My 90 Jared goff plays better than any qb I’ve used and I’ve used them all except Ltd stroud

its all about what ea dda wants in order to “keep you engaged“. Wish I could be proven wrong but it’s patented so…..

Im not saying he sucked. Its a personal thing where when I run my offense he had some hitches in his motion in the certain zones of the field for me that made it difficult. He also choked 2 games in a row for me in the playoffs where he threw the worst fucking balls ive ever seen for picks. Otherwise I dont feel like hes 2M better than Perry or Allen even though hes amazing. If youre good at the game and can run an offense IMO you dont need a QB worth 1.5M+.

 Ive decided to keep Allen as a placeholder till they make a good Pats QB and I still keep my 60/60 playoff chem with Kelce and Greenlaw added

Stroud is dominating in the MCS....I assume these guys are pretty good at the game and they're using him.....check out this gameplay from a pro madden tourney

Currently running SFL/HRM/GW Unstoppable Slinger X-Factor. Overall I like Josh Allen but his release is slow without slinger. Haven’t gotten the X Factor active once. you have to check down so much in this game that it’s hard to activate. That being said, he opens up the full offense. You can use any WRs you want Instead of being limited by who has Slot AP. He can take hits. (still don’t recommend it) His deeper releases are really good. I like Perry better but not enough to switch back.
