Damn, you're right! I just checked and Mawae is 3x! He is the only one I have that has 3x, though, sadly. But when I remove him from my lineup, my Cowboys chem goes from 25 down to 22, even though his upgrade only says 2x.
I downgraded my other captains, but wish I knew of this trick bc I would have had the max captains at 85.
Do you know if this was this a one-time glitch, or does this happen with every captains ability bump???

Have not seen one. I shuffled to have Reed in the lineup for a little bit so thats the only one I've tried. Went back to Crowder and Berry

I am not sure if this is a one time thing or not. It would be nice if it happened again with the next bump, but who knows with EA.

I use Ronde and Mawae because I don't like spending coins on those positions, I just don't like spending 500k on a corner or center and then for them to be mid in a month

Tbh they might increase their overall in a couple weeks maybe thinking after Super Bowl promo or around there hopefully.
