At what point do you not need gift wrap?

I feel like you don’t really need it anymore, but you need it if you do a lot of high/low balls, since they patched them it helps with the open drops on a high pass

it depends on your team I think, I have 90-92 receivers and its needed but if your in the 95 range its not as important

Per abilities.fyi it increases the catching chance of the WRs, TEs, and RBs on passing plays. Depending on how exactly this is implemented in the code it may help even with 99 catching stats. As longs as everyone you throw to has good catching stats I think you should be ok.

Personally I think there is more important abilities other than gift wrapped (like HRM, GS, SFL, PLE) but gift wrapped still makes an impact, I feel like the players animate but better with it, but like you said, more of a luxury
