It’s not about having a mic bro, the PS5 controller has a built in mic. yes you can leave it muted but it doesn’t change the fact that you can hear people talking shit through the controller. Only way to avoid is by joining a party chat or turning the controller volume down (silly option because lots of games utilize the controller for sound effects) doesn’t change the fact that this community is toxic and cancerous and EA should infact step in and monitor the voice chats for POSITIVE PLAY

You're right about the whole "no proof" thing, but I wish I had gotten even some semblance of an apology out of EA. But instead they doubled down and irroneously reminded me that the warning I received was legit. LOL

My favorite is when I see them start yammering in the upper right of the screen, when all my shit's on mute. It's like, did someone drop you on your head? Just rambling and smack talking to nobody? Mic stays off because there are some sorry people out there and I'm not trying to know about that world.

I turned the mic off by hitting the button on my controller, and I never talk, so I do not know if they can hear me or not. But I can what they are saying or whatever music they are playing. How do I shut everything off?

There's a good chance he's too big of a sissy to say it in real life. Internet tough guys...

I go straight to party chat for online games. Too much trash out there, or loud trap music, or family yelling in the background.

I start a closed party and don't invite anyone into it.   They can't talk to you at all after that.   There might be better ways, but it works for me.
