Hybrid strat slot?

Does any body know what this is for, or what it does? I can't get anything in there. Every time I try to put something in there it says no cards. But man I have a ton of strat cards of all types, so what's the deal.

I have around 30 of them and when I click on it it says empty or nothing found, some kind of error message, like I don't have anything to put in there.
