One would think cover 3 defense with a man up top in the middle would stop a deep post across the middle. But when my opponents put a streak by the post my safety stand there in mid as the post runs right by his face. What do I do to counter this if there is any way? I can user the post but usually they have a corner route I need to user or a drag across the middle or Texas route.

I’ve never ran into this problem. I’d switch my defense though as soon as I got beat. Either try a couple variations of cover 4, sometimes cover 2 can be sneaky good if you set your middle yellow to a deep third. Sidelines are exposed to streaks and deep corners though in cover 2.If all else fails, user the guy you put in man on the post.
