It shouldn't matter, if you have to run the meta every year you're making the game miserable due to EA's restrictions they have implanted on themselves and the consumer due to a terrible engine and animation system. But we will get the same broken meta with 6-1 and dollar every game.

BNOG stacked flats out of a cover 2 shell, something that is extremely similar to the most popular formation in real football! 

A video game that is called "simulation football" per EA. SO it should resemble real football. Which it doesn't, at all. People like you are just video game guys, don't play or understand the sport at all.
