These kids haven't been playing as long as a lot of Old Heads. They're still eating off the kids menu at the META Restaurant when the rest of us have the entire menu to eat from.

by agreeing with him?

by conflating “can’t be the best qb without having the best setup” with “I need the best setup to win”

Maybe I am wrong here.
but i took it as him ironically mocking the belief that release and abilities are the only thing that matter.
I joined in to mock that belief as well

Gotcha gotcha. They’re certainly not everything that matters but on a QB it’s a big portion. Everything else is speed or strength imo

Doubtful. Unless it was in rookie reg season, in the first week of the game lol.
Mishkabigcat said:You must play in bum leagues, release and sfl is only thing that matters, everything else is a luxury. no trad 4 no qb1
I play MUT Champs, is that a "BUM" league??? Hmmm???.. Obviously, release matters, however, his release plays fine for me, especially with GS. Nobody said anything about SFL, but to your point, you must be a BUM if you can only play and win games with trad 4.
The fucking QB release is a huge part of Madden whether people want to admit it or not. A good release is the difference between a sack and a completion, if you say otherwise, you're just trying to start shit for no reason. That's how EA made the game tho so blame them, giving QBs imaginary abilities when they should all be able to do the same thing already, just not as good. EA divides the community and then we fight with each other about the awful game they created

Make adjustments. everything can be countered.
I have used Joshy boy all year.
Gunslinger and HRM
I win more than i lose and I'm okay with that
They are not saying you cant win games with a QB with a bad or worse release , they just said because of his release he not QB1 .

Mut champs is a prime bum watering hole lol… There‘s no incentive to play it, EA ruined it. With current state of MUT and 3 lit up UFs. Trad 4 is the counter. I can win games with any release, it’s just… why make it harder on yourself?

QB1 is the starting QB on your team nothing more nothing less. If you're good enough at the game you'll win no matter the QB.
The "Hive Mind" who care and comment about release and abilities beng the "deciding factor" cant win otherwise, because their whole Offense is predicated around animations and not their own skill set.
I assumed ( maybe wrongly?) that he was mocking that belief and I joined in mocking that belief.

Release does have an effect on the outcome of games in Madden

I would agree.
it definitely can affect those who can't adjust their Offense around the negatives.
Since 99% of the playerbase all copy each other they all need " Whatever Release" is most effective in whatever "Flavor of the Month Offense" is going around.
Thats why IMO the hive mind opinion isn't worth anything. They are all just copying the previous persons plays and thats LOL to me.

Nowhere was it said people can’t win games without release or abilities. QB1 was relating to best qb in the game. Without trad 4 a QB will never be the best in the game. Release and SFL are the 2 most important attributes to how good the QB is. It is simply smarter to use a QB with best release vs Trash release. In lower leagues release doesn’t matter as much, in higher leagues it’s a difference between a sack or a completion. Is this simple enough?
