why do Garret and Jackson get 97 limiteds but stroud cmc etc only get 94s? What’s the point in that when they both have 95s already. And how did they decide who got the ltds? I get Jackson cuz mvp but Garret?

Seems like all players will get 97 OVR LTD versions and 96 OVR non-LTD versions. Or at least certain players? Idrk. Usually it's all LTDs but this time around EA is switching things up.

How will that work? Are the 94s upgradeable?

The 94s seem to be Welcome Pack players. You can only pick one I think, and it'll probably start as an 87 or something, which you then use tokens to take it to 94.
They may be doing a Cover Athletes-like thing with the actual cards, having one regular (96) and one LTD (97) with the LTD getting slightly better stats and Xfactors/abilities.

Ok that makes sense. But why don’t cmc/stroud/will Anderson get 96/97s also?

Some guys look to have worse stats than earlier releases.....
Flacco lost speed and accuracy. Will Anderson lost speed and tackling.
How does a newer release have decreased player stats? Did these guys age poorly in the last month or two?

Yeah I have no idea. Super confused why they're worse than their older cards

THis is release 1 of 3. The rest of the winners will probably get ltd's that are 96's and non ltds that are 95s. Or maybe they will all get 97s. In years past only the MVP and DMVP got the highest overalls, the rest were one less.
The 94s are welcome pack players that are upgradable. So they just have all the players available.
