Ji’ayir Brown over Kam Chancellor. Change my mind

Just to clarify I have used both fairly extensively.   

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with Kam. Hes like an oversized high school kid out there. I’ve tried him at his normal SS spot with deep zone KO and at sub LB with mid zone KO. He just seems slow at reacting and is just not in the right position On the field. I’ve seen him animate numerous times and he just doesn’t make the play. Either he’s too far back and doesn’t drive on the ball enough. Or he’s in the perfect position when the balls thrown and just doesn’t use the positioning to make a play. I know hit sticking is kinda busted this year but I’ve gotten minimal big hits and zero forced fumbles with him.  It’s been frustrating as I was hyped for this card. I’m giving him a little more time at sub LB but I’ll unfortunately have to sell him I think.

Enter Brown. Guy is a difference maker. Gets INTs in the flats and playing back deep. I just finished a game where he obliterated Pacheco forcing a fumble; then on the very next drive he obliterated Kelce forcing another fumble. And he also gets deep zone KO for 1 AP

Why not both?

Probably unpopular opinion but I agree that Kam just seemed to be a step behind, never made any plays for me. I run Brown and Lott and it’s much better.

yep I’m lying about my card that I bought for 2 million coins. Hoping this thread will help lower his price so I can re-sell him for even less. 🙄

I have not used Kam yet but bruh this Brown is just flat a monster Beast dude is everywhere

He is imo. Even if he wasn't having Lott & Brown is better than having either of them + Kam due to the price difference.

I prefer bigger (weight wise) safeties this year with the stamina thing so Brown is automatically out for me at 200 lbs. Add in that he's 5'11 and won't win a single jump ball ever and that's just a non-starter. I'd rather have Kam in a zone/match defense or in the box as sub linebacker.

Not that any of this matters because I'm never going to have 3M to spend on a player.

100% with you. I went back to Bo as Kam actually felt like a downgrade. Numbers wise Kam is obviously miles better but as you said, he seemed lost in the games.

idk man. ive never had a problem with height really. To be honest I can’t remember the last time somebody has thrown a “jump ball” on me and it hasn’t resulted in an INT or a pass deflection. Same goes for me with plaxico and calvin at WR 1/2. Feel like that’s one attribute that has been absolutely blown out of the water by YouTubers.
