Problems at Sub LB (Yes yes, Madden always)

You saw the title, currently using 96 lewis as 1. But for slot 2 I was using Lott, but like magic it started overriding a 93 Zach Thomas...

Any help?

Lott cannot be a starter anywhere else in your lineup.

EA boggles my mind. I did what you suggested (although wasn't needed before) and Lott is indeed back at Sub 2 in nickel. However, previously and I mean like not even a week ago. I had Lott at starting safety with a Winfield behind him. Lott was manually placed at Sub LB 2. In 3-4 and dime Lott would resume his main FS duty. This setup makes Winfield the primary. Some stats or something is overriding something is all I can guess
