A different game

I was playing very heavily through December then took a bit of a break, popped in for some playoff content until the Ravens were out, then took a few weeks off until the super bowl.

I got back on yesterday and this feels like an entirely different game.. somehow offensive abilities feel like they've run amuck and have become game changing unstoppable but at the same time every player on the defense having a KO combined with the LIU D-line abilities makes offense feel cheap and hard to find. 

I'm just wondering what are your guys thoughts on this? I don't know if it feels skewed in favor of one side of the ball or the other.. or that these changes are bad for the mode but the game just feels so different to me now. Like it's lost the last shreds of football still in it and has jumped the proverbial shark into arcadey madness.

Game is literal trash.

The game feels like it calls 1st downs even when forward progress appears to be stopped short and I don’t like that at all. offensive line seems to give up, lose consciousness or not stay engaged. An oline of 90-92 cannot fathom blocking juiced Young, Sapp etc. 

i feel I would enjoy the game if not at noob status starting 6 months too late. Appears there are formations and blitz packages that can bug the game out

Read the forums. No discussions about football strategy to speak of, it’s all about what the latest must have ability or some other piece of magic we have to buy to be competitive.

No new patches the amount of exploits the kiddies will run is at full peak also.

Love the game this year. The meta is changing DAILY let alone if you took months off... Like yeah the general average team has now improved lol. It's always something to prep for, what is the cheese and what cards do you need to stop it. Usering lb and safeties are a must. Lots of things to get in line to make sure you have a competitive team.

Yeah I agree it sucks bad right now. too many reasons to name them all, but cheesy rpos and abilities are top of the list Imo. 10 year olds can actually have success just spamming YouTube cheese because the game is broken Where u can't even stop certain plays without prior research

Also there's a ton of money spenders this year which doesn't help. nonstop opponents with multiple light it ups. My last aopponent had sb TT with kam, Mel, burress, beast mode, like jesus christ dude do you spend all your money on this game ???? But it's also awesome when u beat them bc u know they contemplating why they spend hundreds on a game just to lose
