Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they come out with Taylor Swift, Spongebob, Carrot Top, Bobby Boucher, Freddy Krueger or whomever.  If it will sell packs, EA will do it.  There are already people on this thread and beyond who say they don't care and their only priority is to figure out how to win, so why would EA care?

But I have to remind myself that we are already so far past reality and simulation in every facet they'd have to completely gut the game to have some semblance of NFL football.  This is not it.

Realistically, I think it's just going to be cards that have an anime art style. Like it or not anime is pretty popular among the younger crowd. I think the takashi series from mlb the show might be something EA tries to emulate with the card art.

I for one am glad that EA is probably trying different things with the card art. After all the crazy art is one of the reasons a lot of people like the AKA promo. I kinda doubt they'll be actual anime characters getting cards.
