Awful drop . I'm usually all over ULs but not even interested in these.
Cro is usually really good in Madden because of his height but without good chems or steep ability discounts it's just not that good

Totally. They went all in on promo TTs and killed regular cards.
Any other year I would be tempted to rip packs for a Kearse upgrade for 50 Eagles. The idea of replacing Karlaftis with him this year is actually hilarious.

Yup im in the same boat. Kearse one of my favs all time and i cant even use him cause game is ability based and they put abilities 2 months outdated on him.....97 should be 1-2 zero ap abilities.

I wonder if the YouTube guys will still go get these pedestrian cards tomorrow and post “[ ] is insane!” or “[ ] is the best card in Madden” vids?
This drop is so bad that I can’t imagine anyone actually making a case for getting these cards.

Completely agree. This is the first year I’m not interested in the first UL drop. 70/70 SB team with LIU tokens make the ULs look unexciting. Karlaftis is a 98 with chems and has Colossus on all game. None of the Honors cards or the Kearse UL will replace him.

Yea... only silver lining is that it looks like they aren't cranking up all the ridiculousness even further

All high end cards coming out now should have at least a 0AP unstoppable like Xfactor or 0AP ability based on the precedent they’ve set. You can only have 3 xfactors in use at a time on each side of the ball, so what does it matter. Already I can’t use colossus on Karlaftis because I am using UF on Sapp and Madabeast and Universal Coverage on Howly, but it would at least make the law cards relevant. The Anime promo would be a waste of the RG don’t get 0AP secure protector, making him relevant even not on a tt
