Whats Your Opinion On The Genki Force Promo?

Sad when this trash promo is better than ULs.

The entire game sucks and all the promos suck too. X factors all over the place and cards that are useless unless they have abilities. Abilities were supposed to be a bonus on an already good card, not something that was required to make the card useable. Get rid of abilities and the game improves imo

Pretty mid and the stupid fake 90s are dumb af, at least Leon sandcastle and terry tate were real people lol these dudes ain’t even real

Funny how you’re complaining about other people complaining lol, major contradictio. Also shocking statement for you….if you don’t like other peoples opinion forums, don’t post a reply. People can hate on EA all they want, you can disagree and say why you think this certain thing isn’t that bad, but don’t go around criticizing the community. This forum is opinion based and everyone can have different opinions.

I don’t know if he entirely meant her being shown at games. Honestly if they show her at games I have no problem with it. What I hate is the pandering outside of the games. When I look up NFL news hoping to look at some insight or analysis i find like half of the page has hundreds of articles about Taylor swift and Travis Kelce, like we get it their in a relationship ok and she’s there to root him on! I don’t need a hundred articles to tell me that. And the NFL posting stuff like best of Taylor swift at the superbowl highlights?? Like bro… wtf is that. I don’t have a problem with Taylor swift, or their romance, or the fact that she gets shown during a game. I hate the media making it such a big deal.

The promo had good cards but in my opinion it is very hard to get the new currency and will take forever to get the 96 champion.

I think that EA tried a little too hard to come up with something we never had before. The result is kinda trash. We get made up players and pay to win schemes. But IDK what anyone was expecting from EA at this point.

I like it. Sure the anime 90 ovr guys are stupid but they give boosts to other plays like the old motivator program. Not sure how its a cash grab when you can get all of them for free from 20 solo challenges. You can get the best HB in the game from grinding and buying (or earning the NAT) a 96. Not to mention the LTDs seem to have good pull odds and are pretty cheap (97 Pitts is easily TE1).

We’ve been given fictitious player items before, such as The Artist. I don’t think contrived players, even  higher-OVR NMS players with oddball chems, are what users are upset about.

I think this promo was fine, mostly because of the timing. This is a dead spot in the NFL calendar. Free agency hasn’t started yet, and we’re weeks away from the draft.

Someone elsewhere suggested that this would have been good for the Asian Football Players promo, and I can answer that that wouldn’t work at all. Anime is peculiarly Japanese, even if it has an international appeal. Pacific Islanders, Hawaiians, etc. would be split in opinion as to whether they think it would be appropriate for players from their non-Japanese culture to be portrayed that way.

Let the kids have fun. Besides, at least this House Rules event actually works.

Don't like the made up cards (cartoons), but...I don't need them and certainly don't have to use them.  I played the HR this morning it is kinda fun.  Games are quick and you get to practice different plays.  Overall I would say...sure...why not?  I get folks think it is a money grab...and maybe it is...but they can't grab my money if I don't give it to them, so I'm good with the promo.

Don’t mind it. Could have had better cards but the card we got are fine in a casual h2h game. I always like the alt currency and only having to win 46ish House Rules games for a free 96 is a W. and the free 97 Jamal Williams that can get 99 speed is a massive W. I hope they do it again next year, but it will need a little more content to be considered a “great” promo.
