Anyone else hate tug of war? What's the best strategy? I prefer the college overtime type of house rules quick and simple. Anyone else not like the tug of war?
It's fun and easy. Spammers and cheesers won't like it but too bad
One of the best ever, in my opinion. I'm racking up the stars. I hope there is no limit to how many we can do within the 14 days.
Im a run first guy, so these aren't my cup of tea either, but they can still go pretty quick.
It feels like it plays like a juiced arcade mode which im not a giant fan of, but it's different and I appreciate when EA does try to mix up the mundane in their H2H modes.

Sounds good ima try it tonight. My H2H seasons I been going 7-0 just to get smoked by cheese in SB all week so I need a break from that shit.

Yea it's relaxing for sure
i stay away from house rules unless its the last drive or the college ot
I like House Rules for the most part. This one is cool. Like an above poster, I'm a runner as well, but I can usually find some big plays. On defense I'll usually just come out in a zero first play. If they know what they're doing, could be game over. If they don't, I start off with a nice sack.
I had one where dude threw a bomb and I got him down inside the 5. I stopped him twice from there (once from the 1...he tried a sneak smh), then I ran a GL Toss with Jonesy. 99 yards later, GGs lol. Message being, don't give up just cause they get close. All it takes is one play.
its not bad but I’ve gotten safetys and get a loss somehow
I think it’s one of the best ones yet. Easy, quick, and fun. I’ve racked up over 150 wins in 2 days lol

I’ve had this happen 3 times to me

I cranked out 15 wins last evening, but was already tired of it LONG before i managed to reach that fifteen mark. We'll see if i can muster the effort to suffer through all fifty (50) wins to max out rewards. Sounds tedious.
Perhaps if i were better at bombing for 1 play touchdowns, i'd enjoy this more, but my game is typically ball control, slow, plodding offense and rely on my D to get stops or force FG tries, if nothing else. I vastly prefer the short (2 minute) quarters of the Superbowl Run game mode, or even college OT rules would be nice. These one play efforts are kind of lame. Perhaps i'm just being my usual grumpy old man self, but that's my two cents.
I'd love to hear some great strategies as i'm about to embark on my weekend of MUT.
