I think ur asking when a new madden comes out u start out as nothing or a basic 60 ovr team, u do

Yeah you’ll have a completely empty squad when you fire up Madden 23 in Ultimate Team. It’ll let you choose a team starter pack or some junk like that to fill in your squad with mostly sliver cards.

If you preorder, the game gives you a few gold team packs or suck to give you a small boost.

But yup it’s a clean slate each August.
