I think there's a good chance the market drops next week with Toty coming out so if you'r not in a rush I' considering waiting until toty releases before buying new players

TOTY will be 97 base, so older cards will drop for sure. Thought TOTY isnt until March 7 though.
either way, I wouldn’t buy any new players unless you need them for a TT or their ability buckets are great.

I wouldn’t worry too much about playing the market in terms of buying upgrades unless you really need the best team at all times. That said, I usually focus on DBs as I feel skill can make up for everything but that coverage can be pretty player dependent. If you don’t have a preference man vs zone I recommend zone and if you’re willing to spend your whole stack the 4 players I would get are
jiayir brown - 1 AP DZKO
herb adderley - 2 AP DZKO
Hitner - 1 AP dizko (i might be misremembering this one)
malik hooker - 1 AP DIZKO
there’s your cover 4 shell, with adjustments its a snuggy
