Team Captains upgrade?

When will be able to upgrade the team captains to 95 OVR?

I was thinking the same, normally they are upgraded immediately when the OVRs go up to be only 1 OVR behind the top cards.  They are all becoming basically useless on good teams because of their trash abilities with no discounts.  EA should really address that also.

Been wondering this as well. Hopefully whenever you can earn the next batch of captain tokens

It’s usually not tied to the tokens being available.  Up until last week, the upgrades 100% always happened with the OvR increases.  I think they’ve probably mailed it in and the Captains won’t go higher than 94 and they will keep giving us tokens until we can eventually get 6 free 94s that get double team chems and still won’t be good enough to play on anyone’s team…..

berry and barber still both do plenty for me on my squads but yeah would love to upgrade em some more

We got the final Team Captain upgrade last year on the week of February 28th, and it took the Captains to 97 OVR.  Since we started this year 2 OVR behind last year, that would make sense that this year's group will go to 95 OVR soon, but again it is EA and all logic goes out of the window with them.

Hell to the yes, ppl who sat these cards aren't usable must have the best team in the game lol. These cards are great with or without good abilities imo, I also use berry and barber and barbers my number 1 CB and he's a dog

My son and I are using Berry and Crowder on our 52/50 Eagles TT and still get tons of production out of both of them.  With strategy items and TT boosts, Berry (SS #1) is currently a 96 OVR and Crowder (MLB #2) is a 95 OVR.

You could get the TCs to 99 with training later in the year if I remember correctly

I am trying to get to 50/50 eagles myself lol, currently at 33/50 but hopefully with division dynasty 2 I can get to 50/50, but my berry and barber are both 95 ovr with the tt boosts

Now that you said that I do remember that, and check of Mut.gg confirmed it.  They were able to go to 99 OVR.  In any event, the fact that they never give the Captains discounted abilities, no matter the OVR, always puts them at a disadvantage vs. the best players that are out at a given position.  I still use Crowder this year because he makes plays for me, even if it take 1 AP for Lurk Artist.    If they lower the AP on Defense like they did last year, he will have to go though.

You will probably need to put a 96 and a 99 card into the captain this year to get them to 99 with the way Madden seems to work this year with SB and G Force.

Crowder maxed out is pretty good so I have him at MLB 2 but since they have multiple TT chemistry I have another at Cornerback 5 with Barber since he never sees the field and I want to stay at 25 with my 70 SB
