I wouldn't use Parham. Chenel, Gronk, Howley, Carmichael clear. he does get enough discount to start either.
I want the qb card so bad but it's def not worth spending $25 on the pack. wish they were actionable bc I would spend all my coins on it lol

Ya, i've tried to find another/different USER for myself, but i still think Parham (at 98SPD on 70/70 SB TT) is borderline elite. As they say, you can't teach height.
That 6'8" NBA style frame continues to win me games, in fact I won my Superbowl Run "Superbowl" late last evening, due to the simple fact that Parham is so dang tall. My opponent was down 17-10 midway through the 4th quarter, driving and threatening to send this into overtime, only to throw a red zone pick on a corner breaking route -- it was totally open, too, he found the typical soft spot in my sideline zone coverage via double corners, Parham was sprinting backwards to USER defend that, but i was slow/late getting there and dude had 5-10+ yard head start on me... without that extra height, i do NOT make that clutch User-Lurk to win the game and clock out the final ~30 seconds.
It's the same reason that Carmichael is still on a ton of teams. The added height allows us to cover more 3D real estate on the field. It's difficult to overstate how well this card was made. I'm running him naked, no abilities and he's as good as Chuck Howley, who i had been controlling prior to acquiring this.
The fact i was able to win a Superbowl, while kicking off at the start of the game AND at half and also having a turnover was really huge. That's a steep uphill climb to begin with, massive disadvantage, but my defense despite struggling at times, was showing up when it truly mattered most.

I just saw Kmac win a small $ tournament with Parham as his user making a lot of plays. People can use whoever makes them happy but as far as who is most effective as a user , Parham is probably the guy. So this offer was actually really good because you can get a 6'8" user out of it.
I still see a lot of guys using Julius Peppers

On a 70/70 superbowl team, i think Parham is at like 97-98 speed and he's a FS so if you put him at sub LB, you don't need abilities. He also gets a deep out zone KO for 1 ap. How the hell is he outdated?

I actually won my first Playstation Tournament the other week, shortly after we acquired Parham... was one of those random $5 daily offers, for PSN credit. I don't really have much experience with the comp scene, although i'm curious and starting to dabble. Prior to that, i won an ESL qualifier tournament, which got an entry to this Road to the Bowl stuff, but i only survived a few rounds before ultimately choking in a totally winnable game. I think there were something liek ~1500-1600 folks who registered.
Don't snooze on how potentially great this card is, as @Martyr continues to point out. There's a ton of folks who were either close, or somehow missed out on just 1 piece, so I definitely don't hate them making an offer liek this available. Now... where's all the latest Redux offers? ;-P

Correct, he's absolutely 98 SPD (and 97 COD) on Superbowl theme team. I run him totally naked, zero abilities and he's legit AMAZING. I don't have any first-hand experience with Gronk, but i'd roughly place him in that tier of great, if not truly elite option for USER. He's as good as fully maxed out Chuck Howley, IMO, better due to the extra ~half a foot he gets.

Same for me, i use him at sub LB. His speed and heigh is unmatched. You get picks that you have no business getting with other players
