Madden points are the main draw, also there’s some unique uniforms I think? Not sure

It’s supposed to come with them but I preordered the deluxe back in May and I still haven’t gotten the 4600 points that I paid for and others are in the same boat. Ea is of no help and just closes the cases as solved, every single one with out anyone helping. Just a heads up tho you might be fine

As long as you are both on the same generation of console, i.e. PS 4 Pro cannot play against (or with) PS5, they are entirely separate games this year. However, there is finally cross-play, so you can hang out with your boys on Xbox Series X? assuming you have PS5.

But yes, as others have already pointed out, the difference between Deluxe and standard versions of the game won't matter for your purposes.
