I finally found a random person on these forums to pair up with and check out some basic Squads gameplay.  After losing two out of our first three games, we're now on a role and have handily won three in a row.  That's way more fun than grinding Solo Battles for weekly Comp Field Pass requirements and such.  Obviously YMMV, but I'd be curious to know if there's other, potentially better ways to go about finding competition on these boards.  Haven't yet tried any 3 on 3 squads play, but I hope to dabble with this more.  I'm not always the most social grumpy old man, but wasn't difficult to find some fun in those game modes.

So much toxic behavior in the community, i honestly fault EA for the horrendous decisions they make, which drives so many users to secondary coin markets, etc. but that's an entirely separate topic.
