recently started and this is my first madden so i was wondering if there are any like decent tutorials to try and start to learn gameplay on old gen as all of the recent videos are all on newgen. maybe from an older madden?

It's going to be hard to find any gameplay tutorials through websites dedicated to old-gen within the past few years.
Youtube will most likely be your best bet for old gen tips and tutorials.

It’s a journey. Try searching YouTube on “Madden 22 ….” And you should find stuff. Let us know how you make out.

Yeah as Bill said, just type in Madden 21 (I believe was the last old gen primary game) and scroll through the videos for particular things you're looking for. Unfortunately most content since then has been focused on next-gen systems so you won't find much new content on old-gen Madden.
The good news, however, is that if you find something that works on old gen (let's say madden 20), it should still work on Madden 24 old gen as the games mechanics have not changed to my understanding.
