Thanks!!
I too would like to know everyone’s thoughts on this becuase I have Chase Young and Ed Too Tall Jones and I have been starting Ed for the extra strength but Chase young has much more speed with my 70/70 SB squad both have the SB chem on them

Honestly, abilities matter more than anything. I'm using: Chase Young (RE), Warren Sapp (DT1), Madabeast (DT2) & George (LE). With two X-factors on D-line, Sapp and George for Unstoppable Force & Colossus. Three X-factors on D-line felt liek overkill. Everything else is Zone KOs.
Back to your question, beyond abilities, only then do I go look at stats, prioritizing: Strength, followed by Block Shedding. Then you'll also need to check player traits. Bull Rush is essentially "PMV" while Swim & Spin moves are more equivalent to "FMV" -- for example, if your D-lineman has NO for Bull Rush, he'll only use the Finesse Move stat. And vice versa.
I'm hardly an expert on such things, but in general I would say YES Strength matters for D-line, quite a lot in fact, but not as much as abilities. Size (weight) also seems to matter a lot this year in blocking calculations. I think the shed timer is 3 seconds, before that requires an insta-win or superwin off the line, which definitely happens.
Hope some of that makes sense. These are merely my own understanding of how the game works, any or all of this could be off or very wrong. Hope some makes sense.

This is probably overkill but I use 3 unstoppable force with sapp terminator and madabeast and user one that’s at dt but the second closest to their center and use the rip move and it applies crazy pressure

I use Sapp and Minister of Defense With Unstoppable Force myself both activated at The same time is evil, having 3 would be insane you got save some for your secondary though.

^this
but I will say another attribute that surprisingly no-one talks about on a lineman is speed. because u can get good initial blocks if your runner to navigate around the field with any o-linemen but to getting to the second level in the open field is another part that is pretty hard nowadays even before the blitz promo came out awhile back so all this is very mindful.
but ultimately get cards that fit what u usually do on offense and defense. and most importantly don't go overboard getting the creme' de la crop of o-lineman.
Abilities matter more than anything else so whoever gets the best ability stack will be the best dlinemen

I have Sapp and karl light it up, madabeast and then young with edge threat elite. Can't block them all
Abilities matter more. Strength will make any UF X-Factor animate more, along with No Outsiders, Inside Stuff, etc. having ratings as close to 99 as possible without an ability to animate is useless.

If you only send those 3, yes you can lol but mix in a few 4 down sets with a blitz here and there it gets a little frustrating.
stats don’t really matter besides speed and getting throw accuracy thresholds. First get your favorite players. after that get the players with the best abilities to fit your scheme. After that get your tt that will get speed boost.

How to block this easy would be call a play action play then cancel the play action. xfactors and edge threat won’t shed. This is also a very easy way to block blitzes.
I think strength is probably one of the most useless stats in Madden

This is actually an underrated move it really messes up the dline

I found better luck using Blitzer on chase young x factor with Sapp and George unstoppable force. This wipes all blocker resistance and I just bull rush with Sapp. Applies instant heat.
