This is laughable. So you’re saying it’s the MUT players‘ fault that LTD’s are expensive, because some of us have higher coin stacks?? Not the incredibly low pull rates / pack odds?? Just stop man. I hope you realize the guys with higher coin stacks get there by not overspending on cards, that’s the point of it.

If no one had more than 3 million, that card would not be selling for 4 million.

Oh so now you want limits on how many coins you can have? I’m a cowboys fan and you’re telling me that your suggestion would be for me to not be able to have enough coins to afford the triplets? just because? Next you’ll want the banks to cap your bank accounts too so that millionaires can’t own all the real estate too. Just stop man. You have no idea how awful that would be for MUT.

I am stating that there must be an abundance of "coins" in the game. 

If he is selling for 4 million, that tells me there are people buying him for 4 million.

If people are buying him for 4 million, that means they have a lot more than 4 million and can afford it.

If he wasn't selling for the mentioned price, the price would drop.

I can not afford it, so I will not buy him.

I am a Steeler fan and can not afford Blount or Pouncey. 

It sucks, but others with much bigger coin stacks are controlling the pricing, not me.

I understand your frustration - I recommend you following BuffaloKay and UpandAdam on Twitch/YouTube. They’re coin making streamers and will help you learn how to make coins, and you’ll be able to afford whoever you want. They also stream on the MUT.gg Twitch if you want to check that out. Kay has a spreadsheet tool that you can use to learn how to make coin off sets. Definitely check it out man.

For those of us who don’t have coin stacks in the double digit millions or have the time to waste on building sets again and again yes 4mill is outrageous for a receiver he is a cowboy so that is one issue he also gets the SB chem too so there’s that. The best people who don’t have enough coins to part with that much without batting an eye is don’t buy any cards until one is posted at a price you are okay with spending the auction house is a game of chicken people are betting you will spend that amount and you have to wait them out till they lower it. I use the companion app all its good for is buying Btw while I’m at work when they drop that is a good time to snag them before sellers decide what they are worth i snagged one early for 2.8 while waiting out one on the market posted at 3.5. 2.8 is still high but a receiver is never worth 4 mill. The other good time to buy is right before they leave packs if plenty are pulled with LTDS that are t getting pulled you risk not getting one with that strategy.

I don't know why people are surprised or mad about prices lmao MUT has always been about money spending. You can be NMS but don't complain. You know what MUT is and yet you still play and still complain. You clearly won't (and shouldn't) have as good of a team as someone who spends money to open packs. It's been that way since MUT became a thing.

If no one had more than 3 million , than even a card selling for 500K would be prohibitively expensive - you do understand that right?

So if you have 4mil coins now and I have 20mil, extrapolate that to where the MUT economy is such that the highest coin stack is 4 mil - I'd have 4 mil and you'd have like 750K. There will ALWAYS be variations in people's coin stacks, and relative to the coins that people have there will ALWAYS be prohibitively expensive cards -

As for why this card is so expensive ...

Aside from the fact that it is very difficult to pull....

First, he gets 0 AP juke, 0 AP apprentice, and a good X factor

Second, he gets Super Bowl chems 

Third. with the above mentioned SB chems, this card is end game good. 

Fourth, he's on a very popular TT - Cowboys cards are always sought after

Fifth, people have tons of coins this year for some reason

When the content is stale/no variety and you got people hoarding coins all year to spend on top end cards at this point of the year  its not surprising. Everyone so eager to have the next best big name card and theres only a handful of useable top end cards released each month unfortunately when theres only 4-5 "useable" cards the price for those specific cards are gonna be high until the next big thing comes. Also cowboys are a big tt population so yeah kinda expected. His hype has died down some.

I did touch on him being Cowboys and SB chem which is why I copped, I am 70/25 Hybrid both but I was in him early so I didn’t pay over 3 mill for him If I want an LTD I buy at the drop sometimes I over pay in the case of Megatron Air McNair etc.. that was the case but with the lower pull rates it’s the way to go I have got more coins this year than I ever have had at 5.25 mil and two LTDs deplete it, which is crazy. I don’t ever go without an LTD I want that is super rare but I do feel that receivers are not as important as you can succeed with lover rated ones with good catching so 4 mill is crazy for value here. I copped at 2.8 that was stupid to me due to position but I wanted him. I will spend crazy coins on QBs RBs CBs MLBs Edge and Safeties though as the right one can make a huge difference in your team.

Simple Economics

Ive been annoyed with how expensive the great cards have been too and while I dont think it's quite as simple as youre making it out to be theres definitely some truth to what you're saying. I remember other years when being over 1 mil was pretty rare for any card (2-3m plus were almost unheard of til well into the offseason/golden tickets etc, especially before endgame) and there were still quite a good handful of "great cards" that were unattainable for most players realistically. 

So its all relative yes, but the fact that nearly every limited (especially the really exciting or appealing ones) are well into the 2m range give or take and its been this way all year, does seem even worse. And worst of all, seems manufactured intentionally by EA with scummy practices. Oh well. Smh
