Giving New Players Super Bowel Chem Was a Mistake

Super Bowel TTs are already OP and the meta due to the abilities and x-factors of these players. I was hopeful that we’d see the end of the SB TT with season 5 and the release of TOTY. 

Well with last week’s release of Heath Miller and this week‘s release of The Triplets with SB Chem, it looks like SB TTs are here to stay. At least with Legends chems last year, there were A LOT of legend players. You could play teams with legends chems that had a variety of different players. Now I pretty much get matched up against the same team every game. It’s making  the game dreadfully stale. 

Does this bother other people? Do you think the SB TT is truly here to stay? Could EA possibly make the SB TT a little less attractive by upping the AP needed for light them up x-factors? I’m just curious to hear peoples’ opinions on the SB TT.

There will eventually be a new reason to drop SB TT, we just don’t know what yet. 
 

Felt that way about ghosts TT, then eventually playoffs TT, now SB TT.

If combine got a promo chem, that might the new thing. Depending what discounted abilities and base speed TOTY cards get, maybe that takes over.

Definitely OP now, but something better always comes. Then we’ll complain about that promo TT. Because really, there just shouldn’t be promo TT’s to begin with.

Clone SB teams are off-putting, but it’s the best for competitive play rn.

next season, EA will do everything they can to get people off SB TT. They won’t make $ if everyone stays.

TOTY likely will have 0 AP ability buckets and great stats. or something  that  will make them a noticeable upgrade over SB.

Some  have said they could drop the AP limit, making 0 AP abilities a must.

Good, give every player SB chems. The game is pretty much done anyway

70 SB is the top of the top as far as competitive players the only way to get people to move is to drop 98 and 99 speed players with 0ap ability buckets to match up with what advantage SB gives people and go above EDIT: AKA Crews has an established history of giving the LTD all chems as well as for SB winners getting SB chems so I see thay being the case till AKA Crews is over.

Depending on your setup there is 0 reason to move from sb team until golden tickets.  The only real thing that could affect it are ap changes.  Right now I have a 6-1 with kos lurkers and glow bot dline all with 98/99 speed basically.  No reason to switch unless they give us lower defense ap

It's hard to see the SB TT taken over unless we get massively discounted abilities in future releases. I'm talking 0 AP secure protector, double me (non-X Factor), angry runs (non-X Factor), unstoppable force (non-X Factor), colossus (non-X Factor), universal coverage (non-X Factor), reinforcement (non-X Factor), knockouts, etc.

What would reinvigorate interest in the game would be some solid cards that could transfer to Madden 2025 to start your team off on a strong foot - nothing crazy but some 87-90s for the first month or two.
