For OVR hunters - 98 OVR is now attainable

May not be the best team for your particular style of play but if you are OVR hunting then 98 is achievable...and even though CC said he had the "first" 98 OVR team, he was wrong...others do too.

I hit it yesterday...if you want to see how, what cards/chems/motivators/strats I used let me know and I will upload to this thread.

I know OVR does not mean as much as using the best cards for your play style. For example, I prefer Bo over Richardson, etc....

Besides, everyone is going to have a high end squad these days, we are coming to the end of Madden season.

******DISCLAIMER******  Just because the OVR is higher does not make it a better team. This is just for purposes of people who want to see that OVR number go as high as possible. I do not run with this 98 OVR squad when I play.

I need an overall calculator… almost everyone on my team is 97 (or higher) and I’m at a 96 overall.

You're almost certainly gimping your squad chasing that "numba go up" strategy. Stats barely matter, especially now in the end-game, when almost every new player or card will without a doubt hit minimum thresholds... abilities are absolutely everything.

Obviously play however you want, but this type conversation is SUPER confusing to many, especially new players.

I would encourage most everyone to try and match abilities to areas of the field and work backwards, crafting a roster in this manner. YMMV, if you're going to take advice from the community, few players are more knowledgeable than Martyr. You should regard anything I have to say as the ramblings of a lunatic, meaning take this with a grain of salt, but just my two cents on how to try to become more competitive specifically for online H2H play. 🏆🏈

over all means nothing. i never chase 99, it’s pointless. grab the dudes you want /need and that should suffice

I agree. I am not playing with the 98 OVR team. I am down to 97 because the players fit my scheme better but there are people out there that like to try to get the highest OVR possible; it is definitely a thing...so I was playing around with my team and strats, chems, and it happened so I figured I would share.

I can build a 95 or 96 OVR team better than this 98 OVR team for H2h play.....so I agree with you. I was only giving thnis info for OVR hunters, and there are a lot of them out there. Just informational.

I think this should be all you need to see how to get there.

I don't actually use this exact team when I play - for my scheme I change it up a bit and generally come in at 97 OVR .

He's a YouTuber. He has to put that in for clicks. I doubt he's first YouTuber that is 98.
