Does it really matter who the best player is. The entire MCS is nothing but exploits (cheese).

Lmao stop
Henry is the first Madden competitive millionaire. I don't think there is a debate over who is best.

The whole MCS is rigged for Henry. Cobo exposed him and the Thanksgiving Bowl, then they tweaked the sliders every game after to make sure he didn't lose again. Listen to how the MCS announcers verbally ejaculated for Henry and glaze him like a damn donut every single game while trashing his opponents. The bias is more obvious than the 2002 Lakers v. Kings Game 6 of the WCF. The animations that Henry wins games on (or more specifically what his opponents lose on) are absolutely wild.
Henry is the best player his adjustments on defense are great and he finds exploits.
KMac is really good and he doesn’t run gun bunch Meta like everyone else and I seen him beat Henry on stream last week although he’s like 1-5 this year against him.

Holy hell, you can say that again. While i finally understand that MUT is not possible to have a truly fair, balanced and most importantly, competitive gameplay experience, i was still extremely surprised to see that the cheese-fest happens at every single level, including MCS Finals. Dudes hunkering down in the same RPO formation under center, throwing that nonsense over and over and over. Nobody can actually be good at this game, per se -- it's merely who is better at exploiting the terrible AI and capitalizing on all of the gameplay glitches (such as sideline and endzone throws getting technically knocked out, but the game considers these all catches immediately).
Heck, half the battle for new players is merely understanding which abilities actually work, or close to as described, versus which essentially do nothing. The community spends the bulk of their time arguing over irrelevant nonsense, liek "is 99 Mahomes better than ____?" type ridiculous nonsense. The game doesn't even have to be good to be popular, but at this rate, EA is doing everything they can to quickly kill the player base, due to the usual short-term thinking. I'm finally hearing more and more die-hards who have been playing the game for literally decade(s) have finally had enough. Sure, there's many of us who are still helplessly and hopelessly addicted, but for how long? Once EA drives away the core demographic, where are they going to find that additional ~50% growth over the next 5 years, as the CEO has forecasted?
Please slap me silly if i ever pay full price for this game again. I'll circle back someday if/when there's competition, or alternative fatball experience, licensed or not. I am such a fool, thinking i was signing up for simulation fatball. This has been nothing shy of a buggy ass, disappointing and extremely frustrating mess. Forced myself to suffer through those TOTY Solo Challenges last evening and after completing them I couldn't even look at the game anymore, was so disgusted. And for my time I was awarded a 95 OVR BND player that can't even be used for set pieces to build a card that's actually useful. Even NMS players aren't going to find that 95 TOTY relevant, oof.
