I can often go 5-1 or 5-2 in the regular season but a lot of my losses come in the first playoff game. It’s happened a couple times now and I’ve only made it to the sb like twice, although I don’t play H2H that much. But still, it’s pretty annoying. I don’t even think I’ve won a sb this year. What could be the reason I fall apart in playoffs?
i think a lot of it has to do with the mindset/mentality.
knowing that u suck in the playoffs makes u suck more. Just pretend ur still in the regular season.
dont play differently (as dont be extra conservative or wtvr) and keep playing normally after u do something bad

i dont got anything as far as actually playing goes
You play harder opponents in the playoffs
In my experience, playoff games tend to be tougher matchups than those in the regular season. Generally, most of my opponents in the playoffs seem to have a decent understanding of which abilities are good and a competent scheme. Regular season seems to be a mixed bag in my opinion sometimes you'll get a decent opponent. Other times especially if you've lost a game or two, you get someone who you can tell you're better than within the first couple drives.
Especially if you don't play h2h much, it could be that you're just not used to playing good players. Playing more and learning about the meta can help with this.
There could also be a mental component to it. Maybe you take more risks and that leads to more turnovers and big plays for your opponent. Or maybe you play too conservatively because you're scared of making a mistake that leads to you losing. Hard to say if this is the case without knowing what's going on in your head. It's also possible you're as cool as a cucumber and you play the exact same way you do in the regular season.
You match with higher tiers and/or those in playoffs/superbowls. Just the way it is.

I thought abt that too but I’ve played some really good players in the regular season. But I guess if they’re in the playoffs also then they must be good

Thanks for responding this makes a lot of sense
There’s a lot more players strictly running exploit offense and defense in playoffs

Not even true.

Not even true. I've been 8-0 in legend hit my SB against starter teams. It's random as hell.

You probably over think things. Don't even worry about it just treat every game the same way. Find your rhythm and stick with what works.

yeah, i cant stand it……too many assholes just going for an onside kick and then hit sticks to keep the ball away from ya…..not worth the frustration for me……if i ever get someone with the balls to face me straight up i would die of shock
