I've built my OL around it but I'm still seeing A LOT of instasheds/crazy pressure from the meta formations. Should I give up and use that AP somewhere else? SP was really good last year but I feel like I'm barely noticing it this year. Just me?
i have it on all 5 of my big guys and i can certainly tell a difference. i would target OL that get SP for 0 and 1 AP so you can still use AP elsewhere

Goodness gracious, yes it's vital to keep, IMO. Personally, I would NOT be giving up on Secure Protector, even if it's inconsistent -- that's Madden, after all... buggy ass mess. I'm fully intending to remove my D-line X-factors once every understands how important Secure Pro is, especially this year when those DL are active the entire game, oof. However, it's hardly perfect.
Sadly SP is the only opportunity we have to hope to slow down, let alone counter Unstoppable Force and/or Colossus. I have noticed that Greg Van Roten getting both Secure Protector + All-Day has helped quite a bit, although it might be in my head, as i was still using Larry Allen Ghost of MUT (with only 1AP Post Up) prior to just last week.
I made a more detailed post about Secure Pro versus Edge Pro -- unsure if any of that would be relevant or helpful to inform your decision-making. It DEFINITELY helps against the superwins / insta-sheds immediately off the snap. All five of my O-line finally have Secure Pro, it's noticeably better, but nowhere near perfect. It could be more liek Inside Stuff, which has a high percentage chance to win, i'm honestly not certain if this ability is 100% guaranteed to activate. Nothing EA does is as-described, in my limited experience.
- Blocking_ChanceBlockNonEngDefMoveOutcome_DefSuperWin -- Grants the offensive player an improved chance to block non-engaged defensive move super wins.
- Blocking_ChanceBlockStandardOutcome_DefSuperWin -- Grants the offensive player an improved chance to block standard move super wins.
- Blocking_ChanceBlockUpgradeDefWinToSuper_DefensiveMove -- Grants the offensive player an improved chance to block a winning defensive move from upgrading to a super win.
- Blocking_SecurePassBlockerInitialTimer -- Modifies the initial timer for secure pass blocking.
I have it on my RT and have played against it.
X factors still shed, but with some resistance/slowed animations. DON also seems less consistent against SP.
It should nullify ET, but ET still wins 1-2x a game. guess thats fine since having zero pass rush would be bad for gameply
Thanks guys. I am running the two zero AP SP cards so I’m only burning 3 AP on SP. Just getting screamed at lately and wondering if I could deploy the AP more effectively.
I’ll leave it alone for now though.

Secure protector stops the initial she’s all day stop the 2nd and maybe 3rd from being instant win as well so it’s a great combo but unless double discounts too expensive to run on everyone but it would be very strong If you did
Honestly, I feel the same, I have sp on 4/5 and ep on my rt,
with combine/country/sweet feet etc my whole o line is 99, except 97 Training kelce (who when I throw an int is normally the first one to tackle the cb/safety; combine speed boost goes hard)
upgraded this as I just had a fairly average mostly bnd o line and was starting to feel the pressure on 3rd downs, especially Worse if liu Sapp is nt, with all the 6-1 or 3-2 cheese yeah, rolling out is an option once, maybe twice, but if your opp has anything like a clue, they just cover deep and stand slightly back from the los And it’s throw away or sack town.
welp, colour me shocked that non, not a single one of my o line men feels any better, nearly 9/10 higher rating and sp, and I still get so much pressure, where by the only open plays are some boring cross, double outs or bench and rb texas, I hate how much this game forces you to counter cheese rather than just play good footie 🙄
I’m using Edge protector on my Tackles and Secure protector on my guards and center all for 2ap it’s given me enough time to get the pass off I believe, but I’m old gen so I am only going against UF and not Colossus so I don’t have the same experience as current gen. I have LT Bolles, LG Quentin Nelson, C 99 Kelce, RG Larry Allen, RT Penei Sewell. I’m very happy with that line I’m also using identifier on Kelce and it’s great for me using Anthony Richardson.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, i only just recently was able to acquire Greg Van Roten, but this stack seems to be the best currently available, as you stated. I didn't fully understand the All Day ability, this description wasn't exactly clear to me on how/what/when it will activate --> Blockers with this ability will allow less frequent shed attempts by their block target
Blocking_IgnoresPocketDegradationTimerPenalty
Ignores penalty for pocket degradation.
