didnt take long to get kelce are we getting a fletch career tribute or no?
Feels like Deja vu from yesterday’s thread with the same or similar title . Consensus from that thread was no. Just not good enough for a tribute.

Yeah but I'd argue that Cox had every bit as good a career as Kelce (and I love Jason Kelce).
Honestly I think Kelce got that card because of the fame he has from Travis. TaySwift, etc. Yes, he's been a top C in the game for a few years but his visibility spiked because of his brother and their podcast, etc. Again, NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY from him, great Center, but if he deserves a Tribute card so does Cox.
I remember games where Fletcher Cox really was unblockable and I am a Giants fan who hates the Eagles
At this rate he will sign his retirement papers and we will be stuck with his 83 ovr until/if he ever gets a flashback/legend card in 2 years.
its low key disrespectful he had a decent career at least give em a 97 ltd

I am a Cowboy fan so have no love for either but sorry but that is a losing argument. Jason Kelce is a 7x probowler and a 6x 1st team AllPro. Hasn’t missed a game since 2014. Fletcher Cox is a 6x Probowl but only a 1x 1st All Pro.
Kelce is a top 10 center all time. Cox wouldn’t even make the conversation of top 20 all time At DT

Yeah in retrospect , kelce is an All time great and Cox isn't for sure
I’m sorry…
1. The guy is a future Hall of Famer.
accomplishment support that:
Super Bowl Champion
2010s All Decade Team (voted one of the 4 best DTs of his generation)
6x Pro Bowler
4x All Pro
2. First Ballot? Probably not.
Again only 6 players eligible (excluding special teams) for the hall who made all decade have not got in.
3. As for deserving a tribute…
His awards and accomplishments say so, I mean Rivers and Eli got one. Why not him.
may not be a huge name to you, but he was one of the best to play in his era.
Yea it's the, it took 75 years to finally get one.

He may be an eventual HOF'er but absolutely is not a first ballot. He is a 1x all pro First team, the rest were 2nd team. He is not even in the same league as Aaron Donald who would get a DT tribute card.
per Pro Football Reference's HOF Monitor:
Hall of Fame Monitor
PFR HOF Monitor: 78.38 (13th among DT, average HOF DT is 102.36)

He was really good but I think the difference was Kelce ended his career with a stretch of dominance leaving us with only memories on the most unique and talented blocker in space of all time, and most of his pro bowls and all pros came at the end of his career. Cox was really dominant for a stretch early in his career, but he had some injuries and was never the same until he became a rotational DT At the end of his career he played between 40-60% of the snaps and the less he played the better he was. As for the lack of all-pros he played at the same time as Aaron donald, who is a first ballot HOF, so not many chances to win an all-pro.
idk what the prerequisite for a tribute card is but in 22 Roethlisberger got a 97 LTD. I understand not everyone gets a tribute card, but I think cox is deserving.

2 DT’s get first team all pro each year, not just one, so Donald wasn’t the only one beating him out every year.

Still 1 other spot, that’s tough. Not to mention it basically goes off sacks and tfls and things really gotta go your way to get those. He still deserves a 97 Ltd they gave one to Big Ben
