I seemed to have just noticed it. I believe it's the first time there has been no Season XP.
Do they want to delay even more the mid rewards that are given during Season 5??

Yeah, im not even working on the Comp Pass now because of that change....
yeah, was such a stupid change……i grinded enough to get jettas and now i only touch it to complete daily tasks and if program/season objectives require it
The optimistic view is it has something to do with offering more xp to offline players since it's pretty much impossible for offline players to complete the comp pass.
EA may also just want more control of when players can get rewards from the season pass.

Hmm, but I don't really see more XP offered elsewhere. Unless Sugar Rush offers a lot.
I wish they would have kept Solo Battles separate from Comp Pass and given us awards, like previously, based on score per game.

toty offered quite a bit……isnt every other tier season xp?
Anything to hurt the fans they do
Just another way for them to control how we play. It's bullshit that you can't level up as you play, it's fucking gated. Imagine a SPORTS game encouraging you NOT to play and level up. It's amazing

Just got to level 25 today. I think I got Peterson yesterday or day before.

Same, just got that (Pat Pete upgrade) last evening -- typically i'll try to knock out at least 5, maybe 10 MUT Champs wins in any given week, but it's getting to become more and more of a struggle to care to waste my time on this nonsense. I'm sure i'll find a way to carry on without the Ultimate Legends packs from Comp Pass. That JJettas card is so good, i was briefly motivated to acquire him, but there's SO many good and high end receivers lately, quite possibly the strongest position group in all of MUT. Last night i just casually Chewed Clock through a handful of Solo Battles, simply to knock out my Dailies, then went to bed.
Safe to assume the promo passes will offer lots of season xp to make up for it. Just like TOTY did.

And so it does...

I as an offline player I was maxing it out but barely with the help of solo battles but they took the priority from that. Unless the promos offer a lot of XP I don’t see how I max it out I want the Season 6 token and big whit things that are pretty far in that seem so far away at this point if it was to help us offliners it might have hurt by taking solo battle xp away.

Honestly, because EA's handling of Madden this year just flat out sucks. Everything they did , seems to somehow be with the motivation to push people away from their game. I don't understand it honestly.
Maybe they just want to see how far they can push us before we abandon this game?
Maybe it's because they feel like people will have to grind longer and then will supposedly stay engaged longer - but that's a major miscalculation. People like me are pretty much gone from the game and any $$ I spend on gaming will now go to SDS and MLB The Show. Not a dime to EA and Madden.
