Are the best DTs still Sapp and free Chris jones?

Looking over the dline and man I'd love some difference makers there. Tried madabeast bc of the 1ap inside stuff, and meh he's about the same if not slower then Chris jones. Bears TT here. I would imagine very soon we will see 1ap, if not 0ap inside stuff and some beasts to come.

free buckner is better than jones.

Imo Harrison Phillips is better than Chris Jones, and he’s actually played better than Sapp despite being slower. He’s expensive tho so the value is only there if running with 30+ Combine chems

Phillips has been a great interior Run stopper. better than sapp

He gets an absolutely amazing ability stack, could definitely run both him and George, both with Colossus, or any combination of X-factor D-line players.  I'm still using UF (Sapp) Colossus (George) and then whoever else makes sense as a pass rusher.  Often it's just Chase Young, with his 0AP No Outsiders, but haven't settled on a third truly elite pass rusher.  I quite often play a ton of Dollar and will drop Bo Jackson (ROLB) into my RRE or whatever appropriate position to become an edgerusher, which gives me the flexibility to USER control a DE, allowing me to drop 8 into coverage from various (such as Dime) formations.

YMMV, but that Chris Jones is not particularly good, IMO.  At the moment i have Sapp (DT1) and Madabeast as DT2, it's been difficult for me to give up on the boosted 99 STR and truly elite block shedding.  Although i'm not currently using any abilities on Madabeast.  Having three D-line X-factors felt liek overkill, but two wasn't quite enough, as your opponent can quickly and easily double-team a single X-factor.

Ehh sapp lives in the backfield for me…run or pass… but I have him boosted to 98-99 ovr

Free 94 jones was cheeks for me. His ToTY seems to make plays against me though.

Toty Buckner is a good pass rusher. finesse only traits are lowkey good

I run Sapp at DT 1 with UF, Karlaftis at DT2 with colossus, and Orakpo with Colossus at RE.  Currently trying out TOTY Parson fully upgraded at LE.

Madabeast is a monster at DT

Exactly what I'm doing and tbh it's the budget way too. I have enough coins for Phillips but I'm not going flat broke just to see a new DT in a month that blows him out the water and he drops by 1 million.

That's interesting, expensive still but I bet that works great. I like Parsons on my le no doubt

This is correct. Buckner better against the run and as a pass rusher both.
