This game is depressing

It's shit. Nothing works well or smoothly and you could overlook all the pissy menu problems and slow load times etc etc if, once you got to gameplay, it played amazing. Unfortunately, gameplay is so obviously scripted that anyone playing more than a few games knows more or less what sort of game to expect after a handful of downs. Couple that with the fact that 70% of players are YouTube Cheese Monkeys and throw in the ridiculously OP abilities and it gets maddening or boring in equal measure.

EA have fucked it. In a "make or break" year too. I wonder what trite little phrase they'll use this year to pull the wool over everyone's eyes?

generally dont like to play online….usually all i like to do is download CAWs from community creations and run dream matches then when i get bored with em i delete and start all over again

I'm envious of all you guys ready to drop into MLB The Show.  Being a lifelong Mets fan, i equate that level of suffering to being on par with what J-E-T-S fans must experience year to year, constantly letdown and disappointment.  Elden Ring DLC doesn't launch until late June, so i've got a while to kill.  I used to look forward to winding down wr0k and diving into my MUT squad, firing up some competitive online games many/most evenings, but it's exactly as you stated... getting more and more difficult to care.  That JJettas was probably the last desirable reward to grind for.  And barely matters, as there's so many ridiculously good wide receiver options right now, but it's nice on the rare occasion true NMS players can acquire a legit upgrade.

I really wanted to hold out long enough to see if we get some type of Theme Team Remix promotion again this year, that's the only thing keeping me holding on at this point -- my current 50/50 49ers squad feels far too gimped to use in real H2H games.  70/70 SB + 25/50 Niners is just too good for me to move off from.

train for a marathon or sum, enjoy the sunshine. If you’re Bay Area it won’t get too hot at any point for longer runs. that’s what I do in the summer, and then in winter I lift more so I don’t gotta run in the Chicago winter
