You can read more about it on abilities.fyi or previous threads. But the short answer is edge protector seems to only work on tackles and passing plays. Secure protector works anywhere on your oline and helps on both run and pass plays. So basically secure protector counters inside stuff, no outsiders, and pass rushing abilities/xfactors. Edge protector is only pass rushing abilities

Secure protector does nothing for the run.
