Not gonna lie, I am not so good this year in the redzone, especially from inside the 5 where I find it tough as heck to run the ball.
Any of you have some money passing concepts?
I have started to use stick and spacing concepts. Seems to work ok, but still tough.
Thoughts and suggestions?
“Gun Bunch Nasty” in the 49ers playbook has some unique route combos.
generally, bunch or ‘close’ formations are tougher to cover in the redzone. out routes work sometimes too.
my main go to is in the run n gun , 5wr trio, double pivot, and I hit the far side hb or te running a zig (they both run a zig on opposite sides) . And also same pb Iform pro, 51 ZSpot and I block the fb but not the hb and hit the te once he kinda like corners into the back of the end zone
This is usually money for me. I'll motion the outside receiver to the opposite side of the formation so they can't run commit as they're worried about the receiver.
I run it in most times, the bubble screen is just to keep them honest.
