How do you guys get your receivers to make those cris carter specials

Along the sidelines? I see my opponents do it often, like all game, balls that could easily be out of bounds. Some probably SHOULD be, but they always do those amazing toe tap stretched out animations. My guys NEVER do that. Not only not the highlight reel of the year types they always make but fairly routine sideline toe taps for a pro they just obliviously catch out of bounds. 

They can't be doing it manually right? If you even can, idk maybe it would do it if you vlicked on and did posession catch?

 But I cant pick what kind of catch on many passes even if I remembered. Theres not enough time to click on and have it respond alot of the time on shorter to intermediate bullet passes.

What am I missing?

Possession catch is what you need to do for those animations

Yup switch fast to the wr and spam possession catch.

Damn IDK how yall have time lol the only time i feel confortable relying on the click on input to respond requires a ball further downfield ot with more air under it etc 

Unless theres some trick to it alot of the plays im talking about there really isnt enough time. For example youre rolling out under pressure and theres a drag running with you, when you throw it to him like 5 yards away with a little zip on it there's just not enough time for me 🤷‍♂️

Its not that difficult. Similar to letting go of sprint when throwing roaming deadeye dots. Youll get the hang of it. Once you know its gonna be a quick play and have it in your head what your gonna do just swap to that reciever and spam possession catch right before the ball gets there. Actually i think you can just spam possession right before ball hits the receiver and you dont even gotta user them.
