Just a tad off topic, but anyone know what the reason might be if I have Fuller as my 4th CB in my lineup, but when I go to play a game, it puts my 5th CB in instead of him, in Dime and Dollar packages? I have to manually sub him in every game..
emcdavit said:What chems are you using for those boosts? 50/50 Niners?
Aye, 50/50 49ers plus strategy item to max coverage stats at 99, just because. However, I also used him extensively on my hybrid SB & Niners TT, he played just as well with 25/50 at 98 SPD.

Be sure to check your Specialists tab, specifically look at SLCB 1 & SLCB 2 perhaps the Slot cornerback is overriding what you expect.
Trust me, it's not you. Things can get a little janky, especially hopping around between formations, things aren't always what they seem, or what we/I think they should be. Because of this roster limitation, many players manually sub their most important positions at the start of each and every single game. It's a huge pain in the ass, but only way to guarantee things are in place.
However, check that specialists tab in your lineup and keep us posted if that resolved it. I'm no expert, but we'll bumble our way to the answer, whatever it takes to help figure it out, my friend.

Obviously I prefer to have PA whenever possible, but lately it's come down to pairing Deep Zone KO with either Pick Artist OR Mid Zone KO, sadly not both. For me, the choice is obvious I'm running as many KOs as possible, Mid super underrated, although more people starting to use it in recent weeks. The more the merrier.
Mid is underrated for sure. Reaction time is so much better paired with a KO. And it activates anywhere on the field in the middle regardless of yardage.
He's honestly the best card that dropped this promo lol. 99 speed with all TT and free pick artist will always play. I chose flat zone ko tho because I either have my slots blitzing or in a hard flat.

All that is left is to do Sets , I wasn't going to do that for a 94 binder guy .
Does the final level give the 94 card and the Token ?
If so I'll go do it now .
I've been done with that for like a week , didn't know the last level gave it .
Thanks

Ya, i don't think folks understand truly how much area of the field is technically covered by the Mid Zone KOs, it's been fantastic and a huge boon for my defensive scheme now that I've got it essentially everywhere. Late last evening I got frustrated choking and dropping a totally winnable MUT Champs game that I went back and revised my entire defensive philosophy, removing the D-line X-factors (Unstoppable Force & Colossus) and adding pure coverage (Universal Coverage + Reinforcement/Dual Threat) instead of a couple. We'll see how long i last, before reverting. I'm honestly surprised we're still not seeing more Secure Protectors across the O-line, that was the other huge quality of life improvement on opposite side of the ball.

Thank you for helping to fill in the gaps, my memory was foggy of that -- i typically just try to tear through all of the requirements as soon as they drop, otherwise i rarely want to go back and knock those out.

I guess that Mike Evans LTD wasn't terrible, but i'm much more looking forward to Andre Reed tomorrow, gets far better abilities, assuming we'll be able to place YAC `Em Up on him -- more than happy to trade off a couple/few inches of height for what essentially boils down to Angry Runs after the catch. Super overpowered, wasn't previously available to most of us mere mortals... required pricey uhhh Michael Irvin and/or Darius Heyward-Bey. Probably top 3 WR dropping from AKA Crews tomorrow.

I checked my specialist tab and everything looks good there too.
I'm chalking it up to the game and how wonky it can be at times
I do appreciate the response and help though!

Sorry I'm not able to better help out here. You are choosing Dime - Normal formations, from what playbook? Regardless of the order of CBs, it should almost certainly select the top two corners (for outside), then the two Slot corners can be placed in their respective positions... but it can definitely be a little janky. For me, personally, I'm using a Safety (Ji`Ayir Brown) OOP as an outside corner, but also have him at SS2 for team chems, with Jaire Alexander Genki as my other outside Corner. And then in the Slot i've got Herb Adderley and Sauce Gardener holding down the insides. I prefer to have Herb as Slot1 corner, because I'm often blitzing my left of center Corner from Dollar (and sometimes Dime), so this is my configuration: https://www.mut.gg/24/lineup-builder/2c80b344-4f69-46b5-9df6-82e5650bbc6c/
It's not really feasible to recreate the exact in-game roster here on the MUTgg site, because unlike the game, we're NOT able to place the same player/card in multiple different positions and roster spots. Maybe share some screenshots of your in-game roster if you think that might help enlighten... or i'll try to snap a couple later when i'm on.

Yeah, man. in Still running tokens on Chase Young and Karlaftis but I removed one from Sapp and put it on Chuck Howley for his universal all game and it’s been the right move. Been thinking of seeing how my DEs do without it but they geberate so much pressure. Game changing. I’m running 30 SB/35 Combine right now with some other players mixed in. It’s been hard to get away from SB promo. They’re still some of the best cards in the game by far.

I forgot about Mike Evans lol. I had Puka so I overlooked Mike

For real, i'm still at 70/70 SB with 25/50 Niners, haven't removed those tokens from Sapp or big George the entire time they've been released... no intention of moving on from SB TT until there's a clear upgrade path. Hard to give up all the 98-99 SPD players we've had available for what 5-6+ weeks now? +3 SPD boost made these super legit, especially when coupled with multiple discounted ability buckets, if not great 0AP abilities.
I wanted to get Micah Parson's 0AP Defensive Rally onto my D-line, but can't give up Chase Young and that 0AP No Outsiders. Instead of investing those AP into X-factors, i'm trying a couple Inside Stuffs, since we're seeing SO many Angry Runs toters lately. I assume these will also be cancelled out by Secure Protector, but not many folks are clued in to the important of O-line blocking abilities.

I’ve got 5 secure protectors but I’ll tell you what- look into All Day. I recently watched a video on it and essentially it negates the timer. If you have legit PBK stats they will block as such. Thuney, Lidstrom, Kelce, and Owenu all get it for zero. Van Roten maybe too.
