Does duel threat do the same thing as mid zone ko?
Yes without the improved reactions, Dual threat is technically better Because it works in any coverage including man

Doesn't the improve reactions cause the reason for the knockdown?

Kinda but all the player has to do is touch them and the ball is loose, so as long as the player is in good position it’s still good

The improved reaction time aspect in pass coverage is severely underrated. I've been running Mid Zone KO with Dual Threat on Kam at SS for the best of both worlds, being in position to make a play on the ball is HUGE. Will often allow us to get picks, even without PA.
Reinforcement is also similar, to Dual Threat. Not sure why there's so many similar, or overlapping abilities... EA logic, I guess.

Yeah but like the cpu actually goes and chases the knock-down. Without it he won't do that

Absolutely, with appropriate Zone KOs yer DB will turn around immediately as the QB releases the ball, otherwise he might not be anywhere close to in position in order to make a play on the ball. It's basically giving your DBs eyes in the back of their helmets. Super crucial. Mid Zone triggers on a lot of area of the field. Seeing dudes running Mid over Deep lately and I don't necessarily hate it if you can only choose one, ideally Deep + Mid + PA fantastic stack.

Ah I ment for LB lol

Wait is that not why people have been running KOs? I get knocking the ball out is nice but I always thought breaking faster on the ball was the bigger sell

Valid for ANY player on defense, my bad. Fred Warner is the best LB in game despite his mediocre stats, for the exact reason you pointed out.

Mainly for the pass break up. Completed pass that should've been incomplete can make a big difference
