What is the best way to stop outside stretch runs

I will actually  bait the defense into jumping the RPO and gain 15 up the middle. I will use motion to pull the method up user (always so skitish) off of where I am actually going. 

The point is football, when played right, is like a game of chess. Anticipate and outsmart your opponent. Play what works best for you and learn to stop these cheese plays yourself. There are enough copycats, just do you and don't take advice from armchair...whatever they are.

The other guy makes a thoughtful and detailed post and you respond with this? This is the most "I definitely have a girlfriend! She just goes to a different school and you don't know her!" type of post I've ever seen.

I've been running stretch since Madden 11

4-3 Even 6-1, really most plays will work if you spread your linebackers and user the DE on the wide side of the field (cause 99.9% of the time they are go run that way). Take that DE which you are userring and put him in a hook curl. What this will do is automatically move him back when the ball is snapped, so the olineman will not be able to engage him in a block giving you the capability to track down the RB and stop him before he gets to the line of scrimmage.

6-1 is great at stopping outside runs. 

And if you want to know a secret, at this point of the year there are also a lot of safeties who are also great at stopping the run. If it was September your point would be somewhat valid, but it is nearly April and we have endgame safeties who get secure tackler for 0-1ap. 

So before you attempt to belittle someone again, do some research.

I find absolutely no problem playing against 6-1. Matter of fact I prefer it. I'm not that heavily invested in a game on the backside of its life cycle enough to "do some research". Goofball

Sorry it's just taht literally everything you said in your post was wrong so I didn't know where to begin to correct you. Whether it's saying the 6-1 is trash or hurdling safeties or getting 15+ yards on RPO's via the run every time, it's just all so unbelievably hilarious.

"I'm not heavily invested in this game" meanwhile you are taking time out of your day to comment on other posts on forums and put to down others, so that in itself is contradictory. I love going up against people who attempt to run outside on 6-1 as I have never had any issues stopping the run with it. The weak points of 6-1 are the seams/middle area of the field, not on the sidelines.
