Slants dumb out

How has ea not fixed this. Every time i hot route to a slant they dont run a complete route they stop mid field. What gives.

I have noticed this also but not everytime. Maybe 30 percent of the time for me and I have 1 play I use a lot that I hot route a slant.

Been happening since launch. Too much effort for them to fix.

Ya this has been happening all year idk why but I guess EA was like fuck it we’re too lazy to fix it

I don’t even try hot routing to slant because it happens every time for me it’s sooo annoying!!! EA cant get anything right

I'm assuming you're waiting for that slant to cross the field

Wow, i swore this was patched once upon a time, then almost certainly was re-introduced when they had to roll back some prior failed patch attempt, either from the various stamina/fatigue issues, or perhaps before that, when EA took multiple (2-3+) stabs at improving pass catching, before ultimately rolling those changes back, as well. At least they're consistently bad with their efforts at "improving" this game.

There's so many bugs that have persisted for YEARS, but all EA will talk about is their bottom line. Almost have to respect the fact that they've given up on even pretending to care about the sad state of this Madden franchise. Let's all hope they are too cheap to renew or extend their exclusive license for NFL simulation fatball. We know they won't compete with any other gaming companies, so not sure what will win out here. Ultimately, we the community are made to suffer.

This did this last year as well on hot routed posts. I've thrown numerous INT because of this issue.

Yes...Receiver on slant will "run'" into middle linebackers and safeties in center zone coverage.

Unfortunately I doubt they will give up on the madden franchise, it’s definitely one of their biggest titles and money makers. EA definitely needs to improve gameplay though because it’s very annoying how many simple gameplay issues there are that will probably never get fixed.
