Done with the SR challenges and objectives to level 15, got 4 simple eggs and 2k chocolate. Is it generally accepted that I should be quickselling the simple eggs to reroll? Also, whats the best coin to chocolate ratio for quickselling players? Should I quicksell 89 overall SR players or should I try to build 92 or 95 SR players to get more chocolate? Thanks
buy 92 ovr players and I would qs everything except for ltd make sure to open all the eggstarvegant baskets
Also NMS and I was wondering the same thing initially.
My goal was to get the Mad Stork egg from the 10 Eggstravagent egg packs in the chocolate store. I started with 2000 chocolate from the FP and house rules and some simple/1 nice egg.
I went and bought 2 95’s (make sure it’s not McDuffie as he QS for training not chocolate) for 130k each. QS for roughly 4900 chocolate. From there I kept rerolling the Eggstravagent eggs for 4100 chocolate. Took me 7 tries but ended up pulling Mad Stork. Total cost was 260k and sacrificing some low eggs (which suck anyways) and some chocolate from the FP.
With how high the LTD pull rate is, I would def recommend rerolling Eggstravagent eggs. I’ve seen people pull between 2-4 LTDs from the 10. My pack luck always sucks so I’ll be stopping now lol
Goal (IMO) is to acquire chocolate at 50 coins per or at least close to that. 89s should be sold as their coins to chocolate ratio is high, 92s or 95s tend to offer best available value, and if you get impatient like I did you can BIN some 98s early in the morning for 500-525k and be done with it.
Edit: I’m not quick selling any of the eggs, I would only advise quick selling eggs if you need to do so in order to buy all 10 eggstravagant eggs. Coins are easy and training is cheap.
Reason: Added more info in edit section

I only have like 100k rn, i started playing a couple weeks ago. pretty solid team at 93 overall but missed out big time on the SB promo and light it up abilities. whats the best way to go about getting ~40k chocolates for all 10 eggstravagant eggs? definitely gonna play some house rules but not sure what i should be doing

Welcome to the MUT machine. There's almost certainly a WAY better way to invest your time, especially as a newer player. Be sure to crank out all of the old Legends Solo Challenges, as well as the newer Ultimate Legends, you'll be able to earn enough for two 16/16 Legends sets, granting you a full Legends player (95 OVR, Clay Matthews is a decent choice, or sell it for coins to re-invest into your squad). 64/64 tokens will get you that first UL set, although none of the cards are particularly great, so cash/coin value only (~410k minimum price, but good luck selling a 98 OVR UL right now, oof).
And last, but certainly not least, start doing those AKA Crews Solos, you'll be able to earn a free / full AKA Crews and these cards are quite good, some really decent options to choose from. It's entirely up to you if you wanna start trying any of the Comp Field Pass, but it can be quite sweaty and the rewards aren't all that great, but the Justin Jefferson freebie is an outstanding receiver on most squads.
Search around YouTube for various "budget beasts" content and focus your time and efforts on acquiring some of these players. Doug Williams is quite possibly THE best option at QB on the cheap, that could/should probably be your first goal. Now that we're in the end-game, stats barely matter (if they ever did), abilities are everything. What truly sets QBs apart would be their ability stack and especially the QB Release style. Traditional 4 is widely regarded as the best, however i suspect once we get some QBs with decent Trad1, that will become preferrable. Only the S4 Joe Montana came equipped with Trad1, at least from the available options i've used.
Abilities to run on yer QB:
- Set Feet Lead (or Pass Lead Elite, whichever is discounted/cheaper)
- Gunslinger (although some QB releases don't technically require this, but assume it's necessary)
- Gift-Wrapped
- Hot Route Master (this one is debatable/optional -- if your receivers get various Apprentice abilities, this might also become a personal preference)
Sorry if any of this was old news to you, lots of NMS players often have same/similar questions, about how we approach the game with the limited time available to us. The Combine solos are kind of difficult, but i think you should still be able to earn Darren McFadden, who is a really decent HB option... for free (also some GREAT budget receiver options, anything fast will do).
I just learned about the baskets after reading this thread, so thank you.
I was saving for a 98 OVR BND, but figured I should quicksell all of my simple eggs to take a few rolls on the Eggstravagent baskets like someone mentioned above. Took 5 total rolls, but I pulled the LTD egg. I bought 5 92s for about 40k each to have enough chocolate to keep rerolling. Still have 5 attempts left, so I'll probably save up a bit more chocolate and roll those before Easter.

The other response provides some great info but if I were in your shoes I’d make sure to do all the Egg Hunt Challenges to get all the freebies as a starting point.
As a side hustle you can try to buy cheap 84s to build 86s to sell for profit on auction house. You can build an 86 for 4k or less and sell it for 8k+. Take all those profits and buy sugar rush players on Thursday or Friday when supply is high and quicksell them for chocolate. Read my first post to get a grasp of the buying rate you want. Results may vary depending on your console.
