in the xfactor/abilities screen change the filter type by toggling Right trigger to ascending/descending. I screwed with my lineup yesterday for hours not being able to activate 2 players until i figured out i just needed to resort my players for them to show up because they wouldn;t show up on the ascending sort, only descending.

Yea, it can be frustrating to say the least. A couple days ago i wasn't able to get to ultimate team, kept getting the message about " servers unable to process your request" everytime i tried to get into Ultimate team mode. I screwed with it and ea app for a couple hours before giving up and uninstalling then reinstalling the game, only for it to not work after re-install. Next morning i tried again and i got right in, no idea what the issue was but it kept out out for a entire day. It's just BUGGY af sometimes.
