Is anyone else going to redeem Walkers last two upgrades? I know he isn't LOLB 1, but he's 96 speed with 96 PWM and i think 95 Block Shedding, not bad for a (almost) free 98.

i already had his ones from the choc shop and i got the last one from the pass yesterday…..im nms so he is my lolb 1

I would like to but any time I save Chocolate and go to the Store, I end up buying an egg lol.

I might suggest there are WAY better options to spend ~2K+ Chocolates on, unfortunately linebackers without discounted (if not 0AP) LurkArtist are basically only viable as pure pass rushers, in which case i think there are a ton of better/cheaper options. So much value to be had from running Superbowl theme team, IMO. For example, this Chase Young is extremely fast (95 base SPD, mine is 98) with perfect pass rush traits, plus gets 0AP No Outsiders, so he's good against the run as well. Definitely not THE best edge in the entire game, but for ~100k (or via Superbowl eggy-wegg) there's a lot of potential out there. You could get 3 "Nice" eggs from the Chocolate shop for equivalent costs from upgrading Walker.
If you are using Jags theme team, perhaps there is value there, but i guess think very carefully. Abilities are everything, stats barely matter. Unfortunately, Walker doesn't get great abilities.

I already have Chase Young, and he's been solid, not crazy, but not terrible, I was looking at Walker because (1) It's a free 98, and I need al the pass rush I can get, and (2), I'm borderline broke and not going the grind house rules for chocolates, so my odds of getting any more decent eggs are very low. I might see if I can scrape up some coins for some Chocolates though. I already have Mad Stork so hopefully I won't be poor too much longer.

If he would make your team better I would go for it. He wouldn't start for me even when he's upgraded so I'm not too interested in getting it done.

That 98 OVR rating is basically meaningless, it's literally just numbers in the upper right hand corner of the card. The 95s on your squad that you already have will almost certainly play way better, especially if you've invested into a specific theme team in order to boost players. Below is what i was running a couple/few weeks ago and i still think a case could be made that this is and remains an high-end defense, namely pass rush, which are comprised almost essentially of 95-96 OVR cards. I have since added Christian Barmore as my DT (replacing Madabeast), he's incredible, but barely any of these other Sugar Rush cards are worth the investment.
My primary Dollar pass rushers are -- Chase Young only comes in when i need to play Dime, otherwise i slide Sapp over to become DE and allow Barmore to hold down the middle, he's been super impressive, even against Secure Protectors, he still manages to shed a ton:
- Warren Sapp
- Christian Barmore
- George Karlaftis
Do whatever YOU prefer, but there's far better ways to invest ~2200 Chocolates, IMO.
