Impact block is important on a linebacker? I thought that was for Oline blockers
Branch being a corner shocked me, I was really ready for a free safety upgrade but I guess the rattler is getting booted

Carmichael is good also

same here! I’m still running Lott on my 49ers TT, but was willing to replace him with Branch. Looks like I’ll continue to run Lott and put branch at CB with Jaylon and Deion.
I have go Birds. Hoping Carmichael is expensive!

Helps get past block sheds from what I heard

How?

Its considered a more important stat than blockshed to some people. It only matters on lb's/cbs/safeties mainly and not the d line. Its how fast someone can break a run block while on the move and on offense its how well they can hold the block

But it's usually for open field blocks right? How the hell does it work for defensive players? Not asking you specifically but it makes no sense at all. Blockshed on defense i understand but impact blocking is usually important for any offensive players who would need to block. If EA somehow made impact blocking a must need stat on a defensive player, then the game is more fucked up than i thought it was.

Yeah openfield over the los on the move impact blocks. Heres a c/p
Here is what the difference is between impact block and RBK
Impact Blocking is used in a formula with body weight and movement speed for both blockers and defenders to determine the outcomes of moving blocks, when the blocker or defender is running faster than a jog speed.
Run blocking is how well the blocker engages the defense and holds their blocks when a run play is called. This combined with weight and strength are factored into a algorithm compared to BKSHD.
As such, Impact Block is often far more important to be considered on WR, Pulling Guards, and FB as well as secondary and LBs as they often need to be going faster than a jog on a play. In essence, a very heavy guy, with fast speed, and high impact block should be a tank on blocks. especially for pulling guards. As for defenders, this is why someone like Mel Blount has always been popular as he is a huge CB with very good speed.
I am not sure of the specific algorithm on the RBK, but suffice it to say at the higher levels there is not a ton of difference and even if there is it's highly marginal from 95-99 cards etc.

That's really stupid. Impact blocking should have nothing to do with defensive players, it makes no sense at all
All those cards are going to be best of position. The TE is a no name player but can block and catch - Kelce is only better if you have an X-factor spot for him. The other three are end game and top of their positions - WR, CB, and user. If you’re not going to user Hendricks, sell him and buy Warner on this crash. He’s the best computer LB player.
did anyone peep the abilities
Is there any screenshots of these cards or anything anyone can post or link?

I dont see them .
